Utthan envisions a society that imbibes and ensures the values of gender justice, equality, peace and happiness, in practice. It aims to initiate sustainable gender-sensitive processes of empowerment amongst the most vulnerable communities, through a process of building conscientiousness and organising around their major issues to effect positive change in their socioeconomic and political status, both at present and in the end.
